YTB, for YourTravelBiz.com, is
quickly becoming the largest and fastest growing business in
the largest and fastest growing industry in the world.
The travel and tourism industry in the
United States
alone, generates $40,000 every second, $2.4 million dollars
every minute and $3.4 billion dollars a day!
Through the power of the
Internet, YTB offers a doorway into this incredible fortune
via a home-based business allowing YOU to share in the
profits of this $7 trillion dollar industry.
The instant access to a global
knowledge base and the unprecedented leverage the Internet
offers to the average consumer has made the conventional
brick and mortal travel agent become a near thing of the
past, opening the way for the birth of the
E-travel
agency.
Immediately companies like
Expedia.com and Travelocity.com burst on the scene
generating millions in self-service discount travel.
However, these companies also spend millions in advertising
and enjoy very little customer loyalty since on-line
shoppers usually check all available travel sites for the
lowest fares and costs.
YTB revolutionized the travel
industry by taking those millions of advertising dollars and
giving it to their sales people. Instead of flashy
high-priced television commercials, YTB employs
word-of-mouth advertising and referral (network) marketing,
allowing their independent contractors to share in hundreds
of millions of dollars in Internet travel profits by
referring their friends, family and acquaintances to its
on-line agency.
With no travel industry
experience required, in 2004 YTB signed on just over 8,000
of these independent contractors, called RTAs (Referring
Travel Agents). That number jumped to over 60,000 in
just two years and currently YTB has over 130,000 RTAs
worldwide with hundreds of RTAs earning well over a million
dollars a year from their own home-based business.
YTB’s innovative and ground
breaking concept of giving everyday people the opportunity
to generate enormous residual incomes from the hottest
industry on earth by referral marketing is certainly behind
much of this extraordinary growth.
However, the publicly traded YTB
(YTB International: YTBLA.PK) also attributes its rapid
success to the leadership of the company and the philosophy
to provide unwavering support and unlimited income to its
referral travel agents.

YTB
Founder
Chairman of the Board
It only makes sense that J. Lloyd Tomer, better known
to everyone as “Coach,” would be at the helm of a company
that helps people become self—made millionaires through
referral marketing, since Coach himself
became a
self-made millionaire through referral marketing and since
he is also quite used to explosive growth.
In 1962 Coach left his successful
career in business and sales to answer the call to the
ministry and became pastor of a small church in
Benton,
Illinois. A total of
forty-four people showed up to the little church for his
inaugural first service on a cool Easter Sunday morning,
which included all of his family and friends.
Yet, from the pulpit to the
streets, Coach’s spirit, warmth and genuine coaching and
mentoring type empathy for others, transformed the small
church into a beacon of the community, with over 2,000
congregants in attendance for the dedication of the new
church just a few years after that inaugural Easter service.
Hard times hit when in 1980 Coach
found he was not only cash broke, but heartbroken as well.
He lost his wife and ministry partner to breast cancer and
after having earned but $10,200 the year before, he now
found himself unemployed. Then in January 1981 Coach
found a company that promised that if he would work hard and
use the power of referral marketing to build a team to sell
their products, they would compensate him in direct
proportion to his efforts.
That company was A.L. Williams
(now known as Primerica Financial Services) and they kept
their promise as 21 years later, Coach had
personally
earned over $10 million dollars and had developed an
organization with over 250,000 customers. And while
becoming a multi-millionaire was gratifying, Coach, being
Coach, found his greatest joy in the fact that he was able
to lead and help all of the direct representatives on his
team become financially free. Finally, after
accomplishing his goals with A.L. Williams, Coach sold the
business to his son Frank and retired.
A retired multimillionaire, Coach
quickly discovered he deeply missed the role of
coach
and mentor, helping to guide people to prosperity and
overall happiness in life. So, in June 2002 Coach
committed to lead the YTB team to reach new and
unprecedented heights. Today, Coach now mentors a new
group of leaders with the same goal of helping each and
every one of them reach financial freedom by earning
unrivaled residual incomes in the referral marketing
industry.
You probably heard the old adage,
“If you want to become a millionaire, find one who will
mentor you and do exactly what they tell you to do.”
Well, for the first time in this industry or any other, the
Coach himself; that is, J. Lloyd Tomer, founder of YTB, is
standing and ready to be YOUR personal mentor.

Co-Founder
CEO
Scott Tomer, Coach’s
son and first recruit in A.L. Williams was in charge of
field support and training helping to build that group to
over $2 billion dollars in annual sales and became a
National Sales Director before leaving the company in 1992
to become a Certified Financial Planner. Having worked
together with his father on many projects and sharing the
experience of A.L. Williams of building a solid and
successful company, Scott joined forces with Coach to bring
that successful philosophy to YTB.
Scott’s job as CEO of YTB is
simple: to make YTB become a “great” company. Scott’s
definition of a great company is one that can deliver on
three core values:
Number one:
Deliver unparalleled value to the customer in the form of
the highest quality products and services.
Number two:
Deliver unequalled value to the sales force in the form of
compensation in direct proportion to their efforts and with
no limit on their income.
Number three:
Deliver unmatched value to the company and its share holders
in the form of high profits and earnings so that the company
can continue to deliver on number one and number two.

Co-Founder
President YTB Travel Network
In 1990, Kim Sorensen, also an A.L. Williams success
story, bought his extensive business management experience
in help Coach with whatever he needed to grow the business.
Kim created many of the internal
and external processes and procedures that YTB uses today
and he is responsible for the operating foundation and sales
and marketing infrastructure on which the company was built.
Kim is a true visionary whose
fingerprint is everywhere at YTB from the business web site
and marketing materials to operations and the travel
company.
He is also the one who first
recognized the awesome potential of combining Internet
Travel and Referral Marketing with the benefits of being an
RTA. It was Kim’s vision that helped turn the dream of
YourTravelBiz.com into a reality!
The company is YTB (Your Travel
Biz)
